Its high-torque motor makes it ideal for fastening hardwood decking and other heavy-duty applications.

The brushless motor generates up to 300Nm of torque, which can be adjusted down to 100Nm with the 4-mode selector. Switch between the lowest speed (max. 850RPM and 100Nm), medium speed (max. 2000RPM and 180Nm) and the highest (max. 2900RPM and 300Nm).

Combined with a maximum impact rate of 4,000IPM, you’ll have no problem driving long and large fasteners into hardwood, sleepers, and whatever other tougher DIY tasks you’re undertaking.

In Auto Assist forward, the tool revs slowly to begin with before increasing to maximum revs of 2,900 and 300 newton metres of torque. The slow starting speed increases control when you’re setting long screws, working overhead or outstretched.

And in Auto Assist Reverse, the motor starts with 6 pulses and increases to a controlled speed. This feature, usually found only on ‘trade-level’ power tools, is designed to remove screws with damaged heads that are almost impossible to remove by other methods.

The 6.35mm (¼”) hex chuck only accepts bits with a ¼” hex shank. For added convenience, the belt clip allows for hands-free transport from project to project. The on-board LED work light can keep your workspace visible in poorly lit conditions.
